SB 190 NOTICE
Applications for the Senior Citizen Tax credit will be available February 2, 2026, at the office of the Collector. We will accept completed applications until June 15, 2026 at the Collector's Office, Room 101, in the historic Courthouse on the square in Ozark, MO. All renewal applications will also be accepted during this time.
Applicants MUST be at least 62 year of age by midnight December 31 of the initial credit year; the residence applied for MUST be located in Christian County and MUST be applicant's primary/residence; 2025 taxes MUST be paid; and Personal Property assessments for 2026 MUST be completed.
First time applications must be picked up at the Collector’s office. If you need an application mailed to you, call the Collector’s office at 417-582-4330. ALL first-time applicant signatures MUST be notarized.
Renewal applications, with return envelopes, were mailed January 30, 2026. Renewal applications DO NOT need to be notarized.
